ABOUT ME
I studied fine art at Rhodes University from 1990 to 1993, majoring in painting and the history of art. I then returned to complete two years of my master's degree from 1996 to 1998.
I currently own an international lodge in Chinsta, which I manage alongside my art career. Over the past 25 years my career has spanned community development work in craft, fine art exhibitions, and group shows in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, as well as organizing art workshops and retreats at the lodge.
I have contributed to numerous group shows in both amateur and professional art gallery spaces and have held several solo exhibitions. I currently promote and exhibit local and international artists in our gallery at the lodge and actively support local talent.
I continue to grow in my achievements within the art space and hope to further develop my personal career in the future.
My style and subject matter are eclectic, varied, energetic, humorous, topical, conversational, and mostly figurative. I am an accomplished printmaker, a versatile ceramicist, and a fine artist well-versed in oil painting, craftsmanship, and two-dimensional art making.
I create art daily and strive to remain contemporary, versatile, eclectic, and true to my craft.
